So it has been a really long time since I posted. Things have been a bit crazy around here. The day after my last post (the explosion), a lady at work got fired (deservedly) and I have been cleaning up her messes and doing her job for a while. We hired a new girl (who is awesome) about a month ago and I have been working a lot with her and getting her all trained up and ready to go. She has learned so quickly and taken on so much work so quickly that my life is getting a lot easier. :) Hooray for Katie!
We have also been getting all settle into our house. It took awhile, but we are about 95% there. We finally got all our new book cases built and our books unpacked. Now we just have some mess in our garage to clean up but all the other rooms are moved into. It's been a trying spring because our house doesn't have landscaping yet so it has been very difficult dealing with all the mud. Especially in Montana - we will have 75 degrees one day and the next day we will get 6 inches of snow. I'm not kidding. That actually happened last week. The landscapers are finally here and working on our yard though! They are currently laying the pipe for our sprinklers and then we will get some sod. I'm hoping by next weekend, I will have a full lawn. Hooray!
This past weekend, my dad and
step mom came to visit and we had such a good time! The weather actually behaved and it stayed above 50 degrees with sunshine the majority of the time. Sometimes it even crept up into the 60s! It was so good to see them - we haven't seen them since our wedding in June of 2008! It's been a long time so we were excited to have them come see the house and spend some time with us.
And finally - the long awaited pictures of the house. This is not a complete collection but it does give you the general idea.
This is the kitchen - my favorite part of the house. Note the granite counter tops :)

This is our backyard. Or I guess it is our back mud pit. Soon it will be a yard.

Living room. Please try to ignore that we have nothing on the walls. And feel free to buy us art.

The guest bathroom - newly decorated!

The guest bedroom.

The dining room - I really like this part too.

Our bedroom. Also feel free to buy us a headboard.

While my dad was here, he made us home made
chile rellenos. They were amazing!

And lastly, this is our office. Where I am sitting right now!

Sorry for the long delayed pictures of the house and updates. Hopefully, now that things are calming down, I will be able to keep up a little better!
